We know the importance of fathers in raising happy, healthy and successful children. Countless statistics indicate that the presence of involved fathers brings positive benefits to their children, families and communities.
CBCAP Leads hear from the Rhode Island Fatherhood Initiative (RIFI), a project of the Parent Support Network of Rhode Island (PSNRI) and how they are directly engaging fathers with a weekly support group while also aligning state agencies and organizations to promote inclusion and systemic equality for dads. Leads also learn about the Texas Fatherhood Program and how the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Prevention and Early Intervention Division is using the lived experience of fathers in parent and youth engagement strategies.
