This session will highlight how states are identifying and utilizing various community assets to promote family and community well-being. CBCAP State Leads will share two distinct approaches: West Virginia’s Family Support Centers and Kansas’s Community Asset Mapping efforts. Through this interactive discussion, participants will learn practical strategies for recognizing and leveraging the strengths that already exist in their communities. Attendees will leave with ideas for applying asset-based approaches in their own states.

Wrap Up and Closing
CB and FRIENDS staff will review themes or promising strategies that emerged over the course of the meeting, answer outstanding questions, discuss upcoming grant actions, and encourage participants to fill out the evaluations to gather feedback on the meeting.
