It is clear to many of us that prevention programs are a sound investment in the health and well-being of children, families and the broader community. What’s less clear, however, is the actual economic impact of child abuse and neglect prevention. FRIENDS has developed a suite of resources designed to support CBCAP programs in conducting their own analysis, available on the FRIENDS website: https://friendsnrc.org/evaluation/cost-analysis/.

In this session, CBCAP State Leads get an overview of cost analysis, the FRIENDS cost analysis materials, and how these resources can be used. FRIENDS T/TA Coordinators will describe their experiences working with states to conduct cost analysis, and some of the T/TA opportunities that are available to states.
