November 2010- CBCAP Learning Call: Needs Assessment
November's CBCAP Peer Learning webinar focused on using the KidsCount and the NCANDS (National Child Abuse and Neglect Data Systems) databases. Laura Beavers, with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, answers questions about KidsCount and demonstrate how to use the KidsCount database. Madonna Aveni, from NCANDS Technical Team, provides a brief overview and demonstration of the NCANDS database.
Much of the information provided in this webinar was presented at the 2010 Grantees meeting workshop titled, “The Data Safari”. If you attended that session, this webinar is an excellent refresher. If you did not attend the Data Safari session, this webinar is a must for CBCAP leads looking for needs assessment resources.
