July 2010- Effective Outreach Strategies for Engaging Parents with Disabilities and Parents of Children with Disabilities

This was the third session in the Working with Diverse Populations series. This third session focused on outreach strategies to more effectively engage parents with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities.  This session built on the recent peer learning session that highlighted how to engage parents with disabilities in CBCAP programs. Participants were provided with information on the specific outreach and engagement issues to consider as well as specific model programs and practices that work.
