October 2009 - CBCAP Learning Community - Implementing Evidence-Based and Evidence-Informed Primary Prevention: Opportunities and Challenges

This informational teleconference was conducted with the Staff from the Children’s Trust Fund of Michigan. They presented on their efforts to move toward stronger evidence-based and evidence-informed (EB/EI) primary prevention and non-direct service activities.  They shared steps that the trust fund and local prevention councils are taking to move toward increased implementation of EB/EI programs and continuous quality improvement; the challenges encountered; and the work ahead.  In addition, three local councils shared their experiences to advance EB/EI programs and evaluation practices.  It was presented as a part of the CBCAP Learning Community.
