(March 27, 2008) Topic: Secondary Data Analysis from the National Survey on Child and Adolescent Well Being (NSCAW) This webinar highlighted several research projects conducting secondary analysis on the National Survey on Child and Adolescent Well-Being (NSCAW), a study funded by ACF's Office of Planning Research and Evaluation (OPRE). This survey is a five-year longitudinal study of 5501 children who had contact with the child welfare system. Research using NSCAW data informs policy and practice in child welfare services and other services to maltreated children and their families, and advances the state of knowledge in child maltreatment, child welfare, child and family services, and/or child development for high-risk children.
