This teleconference focused on comprehensive primary prevention strategies to promote healthy environments and behaviors, change norms, and reduce the likelihood that child abuse and neglect will occur in the first place.  Prevention Institute presenters defined primary prevention, share success examples from other fields, and provide tools for advancing comprehensive prevention efforts and forging the necessary partnerships for success.
