Community‐Based Child Abuse Prevention: Accomplishments and New Directions, 2011 provides a snapshot of the unique and exemplary practices implemented across the country during Federal Fiscal Year 2011. This comprehensive, web‐based document highlights the work of all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico in selectedcategories. State leads can read about exemplary practices implemented by other states in, “Linking with Early Childhood Programs”, “Outreach to Special Populations”, “Evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement”, and almost 25 additional categoriesincluding the new special populations and areas included in the 2010 CAPTA Reauthorization. Designed to be useful for state leads, but also for local programs, advisory councils, legislative groups, and other stakeholders, sections can be printed and copied to educate others, learn of peers’ practices, and illustrate the work being conducted nationally through CBCAP.
