Protective Factor Survey Subcommittee

What is the Protective Factor Survey Subcommittee?

This subcommittee was charged with making recommendations regarding the most appropriate data collection process for gathering information on how prevention programs increase protective factors. The five protective factors included in the CBCAP Logic Model pertain to increasing: bonding and attachment; parental resilience, knowledge of parenting and child development; social connections; and concrete support in times of need. The subcommittee refined the existing draft protective factor survey and also made recommendations about alternative ways to collect protective factor outcome information from CBCAP grantees.
