February 2009 - The Research Base for Strengthening Families Protective Factors

Across the country more than 30 states are implementing Strengthening Families. Strengthening Families is an approach to child abuse neglect prevention that educates and provides resources for early education providers and others who work with young children and their families on how they can build five research-based protective factors.  This teleconference archive provides information on the research-base behind the Strengthening Families approach--focusing on what the research literature tells us about the protective factors.
