October 2010- CBCAP Learning Call: Promoting Safe and Stable Families
FRIENDS NRC kicks off the new year of CBCAP Peer Learning Calls with Catherine Heath, Federal Project Officer with the Children’s Bureau, as she shares with us the Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) program and opportunities for linkages with CBCAP. She is joined by our CBCAP State Lead, Johana Hatcher with the Florida Department of Children and Families, who talks about how CBCAP and PSSF funds are used to support child abuse prevention in Florida. Julie Collins with Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) provides an opportunity for open discussion including information on future calls/small group discussions on CFSP/APSRs.
